Video Production: History and Beliefs
I started making videos when I was a kid in elementary school and my artistic abilities with video evolved in high school. I have expanded my video technique over the last decade working for my clients and going to school. I received my degree from Colorado State University in Technical Journalism and Communication in 2005.
I look at each video project as an artist would look at a white canvas. I take time to paint each video into a masterpiece. I am always refining my skills and techniques with each video I make. When the video is complete, even I am in awe of the work I produce.
I set myself apart from other video companies with my experience, artistic eye and creativity. You may be visiting my site comparing other video companies to me. It is perfectly fine you are searching for someone to create the best video for you, but I believe you don't need to look any further. All video companies consider themselves professional if they own expensive cameras. However, videos are not judged on the price tag of a camera, but the quality, value and wow factor of the end result. I consider myself elite among video "professionals" and I pride myself on creating wonderful works with the tools I have. I know how to create the wow!
I guarantee you will enjoy the video I will create for you and you will see for yourself why my clients continue to work with me time and time again. As LeVar Burton would say, "but you don't have to take my word for it." Watch videos I made, read the services I provide along with customer compliments below.
Listed below are many services I have provided in the past. If you see something missing from the list, I most likely can perform that service for you, all you have to do is ask. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Promotion Videos
Video promotion is a great way to share who you are, whether you are a company, business, organization or sole proprietor like myself. If pictures are worth a thousand words, than video is a great way to tell your story. Moving images and sounds allow people to be more involved with what you are sharing and inspire them to build a relationship with you.
There are many ways to distribute your video and reach potential customers. TV and Web are traditional means of video communication of today. Videos can also be mailed, shown before an audience or played repeatedly at a kiosk, workshop or convention. The best way for your company to grow is to expose your business to people around you and show them what you are all about.
I have worked with M&E Painting creating promotional pices for their painting company.
Share your business with television viewers, at a kiosk, or other means of visibility. Have me create a professional looking commercial spot for your company to show the services you provide. Television spots are 15-seconds, 30-seconds, and 1-minute in length. Kiosk videos or other means of exposure, such as the web, do not have time constraints.
We were very pleased with the quality of the commercial you produced for us as well as your client service throughout the process. We had a bit of a rough time with our previous vendor on this project and working with you made it so easy to get the project done and out the door on time – not to mention the quality of the DVD packaging. - Cherie August, Dividend Capital part of Black Creek Group
Corporate Videos or Instructional Videos
Solve reoccurring problems within your company in an easier no hassle way, just play the video. Videos are a great teaching tool for new employees and a great time saver. Videos can help explain complex set-ups and machines in an easy and friendly way. Safety videos are also important. People are able to watch videos at their own pace and easily replay portions of the video they would like to review. Videos take away the redundancy of current employees having to explain complex topics.

Anna,
I wanted to tell you we viewed Tom's DVD tonight of "Under the Gaslight" and we are absolutely THRILLED with his work. It is certainly the best job we've ever had at PHS and it is quite professional. We feel we have finally gotten our money's worth!
Be sure to thank Tom and your Mom for us. We will enjoy this for a long time to come. I only wish your brother had been contacted years ago, since this is Kyle's last show at PHS. Better late than never. -- Janet :), Poudre High School Theatre Parent
Videos are a great way to tell a story. Your story may be a feature story, something about our past or happening now and you want to document it.

The past holds many stories and those stories are mostly memories shared by those who know them. These stories will be lost to the ages if they are not preserved in some way. Video is a great tool to capture those stories and share them with our future generation.

8mm and Super 8mm Film Transfers
Age is a factor to your 8mm film and time is your enemy. The dry climate in Colorado is cracking your film and mold is devouring your film if you live in a humid environment. Most people can't even watch their 8mm films because the components in their projector have worn out.
Now is the best time to convert your 8mm film so you can watch a superior 8mm image conveniently on your DVD player and enjoy it for years to come. I will transfer your 8mm films at the highest quality, so much so, the grains of film are visible on your screen. Before the transfer process, I will clean your 8mm film removing most of the dust, dirt, lint and mold, which will even boost the longevity of your film, while lubricating the film for the transfer process. Your 8mm film will be scanned frame-by-frame, which is the highest quality film transfer one can get. I will color correct your video and adjust the playback speed according to how it was shot in the editing process. You can save your digitized 8mm film to a hard drive or have it placed on a customized DVD with chapters you choose. My 8mm film transfer rate is $200 for the first 500-feet of film, price negotiable thereafter..
Video Gallery Sample: Majerus Family Films
My family was thrilled to see the family movies from as far back as 1952. My children got a glimpse of relatives they never met and their parents, uncles and aunts when they were babies. We had considered those old reels of cellulose unsalvageable and lost to time and age...you brought them back to life and enhanced their quality beyond our expectations. The whole family was very impressed with the professional quality of the entire project from cover design and packaging to the menu features and soundtrack. Somehow Thank You doesn't just doesn't adequately describe our deep appreciation for the work you did on those 56-year-old films. - Phil Majerus
VHS Transfers
Convert your VHS tapes to DVD. VHS tapes degrade over time and are also susceptible to damage when playing in a VCR. You will receive your videos on a customized DVD with chapters you choose. My VHS transfer rate is $100.00 for the first 5-hours, price is negotiable thereafter.
